Peggy
Here are a couple of useful pages on the MP knowledgebase:
http://mpkb.org/home/mp/olmesartan/dosing
http://mpkb.org/home/protocol/olmesartan/safety
The Olmesartan page also recommends you have a month's worth of the drug on hand). I think this is wise, as some people have been admitted to the ER or similar and not been able to access the drug while in hospital.

And our latest peer-reviewed paper (very important for Doc's files)
Abstract at:
http://www.nature.com/cmi/journal/vaop/ncurrent/abs/cmi201077a.html
Fullt text preprint at:
http://autoimmunityresearch.org/preprints/Proal2010CellularMolecularImmunologyPreprint.pdf
Print both of these out for Doc Doc loves printed, peer-reviewed journal papers he can put in his "Due Diligence" file Dosing is on p7 of the preprint.

Is there a relationship between TH1 and heart valve disease and arythmias such as atrial fibrillation? If so, is there any literature to present to doctor showing this relationship?
I know many of Th1 patients have heart related problems but how do we show this correlation to a heart specialist?
Any ideas? thank you.

No, I have no ideas. Cardiology tends to be very physically-centered, and it is really hard to communicate new concepts. My own Doc, who diagnosed me with terminal heart disease (arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension) in 1999, still prods and listens every time I go to see him, apparently waiting for signs of disease to come back again. I mean, it is just not possible that terminal cardiovascular disease could have been cured, just not possible...

HI DIANA
This is Fred in WV. The last cardiologist I went to told me not to come back because I was above his ability to doctor me. Told me to go back to Cleveland Clinic. He said he would come see me in the hostpital if I needed him. I have been doing very well on the Marshall Protocol with out these doctors. My last echo showed no changes from the one before. That is a great thing for me to not get worse. With sarc of the heart you either die or have a transplant. I have not had either. I am now waiting for the first echo to show some improvement. Maybe the next one.
Remember, we are all in this together and I am pulling for us.
Your friend in Sarcoidosis
Freddie

Thank you so much Dr. Marshall and Freddie,
What you tell me is a big relief....but how unfortunate for heart patients everywhere who might be cured if the doctors would just open their minds to new ideas.
I will not even mention the MP to the Cardiologist other than to inform him of the emergency procedures. No sense in trying to complicate things with him.
He is a dear man and seems to really care deeply, so maybe he will ask me a question or two.
