Pat: (medaesth) Modified Phase 2: I was wondering if we can use chia seeds in our diet? a website that tells about it is: http://www.hidalgofoods.com/content/?page=16.
I was just given a pound of it and would love to use it in my cooking. I understand it is good to thicken sauces, put on salads, etc.
I am always looking for healthy ways to make tasty MP foods.
Thanks so much,
Pat

You can look at some posts earlier in this thread that discuss chia seeds (early July 2007 posts). Meg did not consider it a good idea, as you will see.

P.S. If you are able, please help our small staff of volunteers by independantly trying to locate basic information using the ABC of MP and Marshall Protocol Easy FAQ Finder or the search feature of this site or an Internet search engine before you ask a question. Thank you.

Thank you Meg and Knochen for the recipes. I love to try new things and am trying to make lots of safe MP dishes. You have some interesting dishes and I will be trying them.
Making intersting good food keeps the protocol fun for our family as well.
Thanksw again,
Pat

Altering recipes simply requires avoiding contraindicated foods. If your recipes call for foods that are to be avoided and you cannot exclude that item in the recipe, just use an acceptable substitute. See Food Tips.
