I just got back from ILADS 2004.
I went over to show a poster display and ended up with an oral presentation on the second day. An amazing event!
My poster display was similar to the one at AACFS, except that I wasn't given a backing-board at ILADS, and so I ended up with a monstrosity looking worse than a high-school project

Here is a view of the conference hall during the opening presentations. There were about 180 in attendance, which was limited to ILAD members and invited-guests only. The previous day, Friday, had been the LDA conference, which was patient-centric. I arrived Friday morning, so I got to look in on most of the second half of the LDA conference, too.

Anyway, I had a great time, and met lots of new friends. But I brought home a list of papers which will take several weeks to read...

ILADS is the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (http://www.ilads.org) If you want to know if your doctor is Lyme-literate, ask him if he belongs to ILADS. Members are doctors and other health-care professionals who research, treat, or are otherwise interested in Lyme and co-infections.
They had their annual conference this past weekend.
