Friday 11th Feb 1.30am
Herx woke me at MN : could feel every part of my body differently. all mild, yet dramatically different. hips legs ankles all drawing aching, feet icy. chest phantom tightness. head spacey. head, upper palate teeth very mild ache. arms hands lips numbness. ?pancreas hotspot. hungry. then coughing / choking.
I was wondering how far this would go, and it all settled and was gone except for gut inflammation within an hour.

Saturday 12th Feb 3am ..
Benicar 20mg Q2 - 3H day & 40mg night <6h... Q BID
Friday Herxy day: right abdominal and various bone and chest. drawing of legs. sick. mild anxiety. very mild numb upper teeth palate.. all very intriguing. brain must have cleared tonight some.
HairDresser came to the house and did both our hair: to save me going out.

Saturday 12th Feb 8.25pm .. tonight > took ABx Q48H 50mg mino + 3/4 new antibiotic
Benicar 20mg Q-3H day & 40mg night <5h... Q BID
Herx: wheezy feeling / coughing when Benicar due. some mild numbing of face, palate. head wide awake alert more than usual. body is still slow weak. rested at times. noticably less anxiety. settled today. ears settled some....

Sunday 13th Feb 9.30pm ..
Benicar 20mg Q2H day & 40mg night <4h... Q BID
physically slow and tired. Kept the cough controlled by Benicar @ Q2H all day. I have a type of anxiety? that visits in the afternoon when I know it is time to take the 2nd dose of Quercetin for the day... with relief.
I am no more *active, but I don't need as much nap time as I did. so that is a slight improvement. everything is relative.

Herx: wheezy feeling / coughing ok @ Benicar 20mg on or close to Q3H today. better day today. ears .... this 2nd antibiotics is a sneaky one.. doesnt feel like a *real* herx a lot of the time, but the signs are there that the bacteria are being killed.. chest pressure occasionally, body still puffy, hard working. am still *sluggish ..

main herx is lung inflammation. feelings of wheeze / tickle / short of breath / salivating >> cough managed by Benicar 20mg Q2H
some esophageal burning and transient back and rib muscle cramping..
breathing mild pepper feel most of the time.. may be 1,25D???..

still same lung cough herx: still needing Beni same. all teeth are very sensitive, even to water!!! chest Heart touch occasionally.. gut inflammation / hotspots... still puffed up.

Wednesday 16th Feb 6.20 pm .. no abx tonight @Q48H
Benicar 20mg Q2H day Q BID
am feeling quite ok, but that is with a nap and Benicar 20mg Q2H all day to keep the coughing etc controlled.. have been able to feel mild Heart area inflammation occasionally. sweet body odor of the big kill is back again..
I have to remember to heed my own advice and not take the antibiotics tonight when I have needed to be on Q2H Beni all day x 2 days. all is well..

Thursday 17th Feb 12MD ..
Last night: took Beni 40mg 9pm, went to bed. woke 11pm with big herx right abdominal right down into hip.. took another 20mg Beni and then a milk thistle before eventual relief and a good sleep.. I find this herxing so exciting.. I feel like jumping with glee... of course I am lucky to not have pain.. it is like a big hum.. it could definitely become painful without management..
skin is herxing again.. more oily feel..

Friday 18th Feb 7.45am reporting:
Thursday 17th Feb .. no antibiotics last night @ Q72H
Benicar 20mg Q2H day 40mg night 6H< Q BID
as I had to be on Benicar 20mg Q2H all day to easily manage the herx. I didnt take the abx Thurs night, even though I felt settled enough to do so.
slept really well.
Plan: Beni Q3H if possible today? and to take abx tonight.

The question is asked How do I do what I do when I am not feeling well..
This is something I enjoy doing. it is a distraction from my discomfort and I do what I am comfortable doing whilever I am comfortable doing it.. and rest when I need to.

Friday 18th Feb took ABx 50mg mino + 3/4 new antibiotic @ Q96H !!
it took me the 4 days to get thru the herxing, altho it was all managable and tolerable on Benicar 20mg Q2H + the Q helps too.

forgot Q yesterday afternoon so last night wheezy goes to coughing / chokey.. took Beni and Q and cough drops and gained control.
had a *memory* herx: it is like a reliving reexperiencing the memory of being at a place, that I was at 5 years ago, geographically / mentally / emotionally... it was very distressing. the Q helps relieve this too. I have had this before but didnt think to report it.. I take it as healing of the disease re the herxing psyche..
I am happy that I am improved now from that disastrous time..
needing Beni Q2H to keep the edge off the wheeze cough..

That's an interesting description, "memory herx."
I get vivid dreams and thoughts when I'm in that semi-concious state or half-awake, half-asleep. Oftentimes, they've been of past events/situations, that I feel I've been living again.
This has only been happening in Phase 2 for me. Hmmm... (Reenie ponders)

I had an *easier day yesterday re herx.. was wondering what was happening? last night the anxiety herx was starting to sneak in again.
I also have very mild transient numbness in top palate sinus area.
and very acute sense of smell for last couple of months...
slept well.. woke 15 mins before each beni dose due.
woke up feeling s i-i-i-i-ck, anxiety, wheezy, cough... Q helps settle all.. altho still feeling sick some..

still memory herxing: skin herxes differently at diff times.. bumpy, or oily; latest is hands and feet feel like they have been in water for too long, altho they are perfectly dry. tight wheezy asthmatic cough and I have never had asthma (my brother has) tired and feeling sick.. otherwise ok..
plan: will take the antibiotics tonight Q72H.
EDIT 8pm: took ABx 50mg mino + 3/4 new antibiotic @ Q72H
