Saturday April 30th 8.30pm

I don't feel ready to let the light fully in ..  too herxy yet..

as the 6H has come around there was some slight giddiness.. and anytime, there can be liver ...  .. and cough comes back although lungs are less burdened..

but I can still feel the Immune System *on duty* feeling.. that is what must have been keeping me surviving the herx, - but also taking me to the feeling of being in a bubble.

I may not be as weak tonight?

eyes may tend to burn easily at the computer so am leaving NoIRs on for now..

Spoke to Anne P. the feeling wonderful didnt last. she had light effects / mild sickness ..so closed up her house again and will introduce more slowly...  and has still been herxing so taking the 2nd abx Q6H still.. NoIRs on or else her eyes burn..

Sunday May 1st 5.30am Day 5
slept well till 2.30am. woke. lungs herxy. feeling lighter. a little brighter.. maybe even some little vitality... then was tired after being up for a little while, as opposed to being fatigued.. gut inflammation.

Sunday: same as always. herxing lungs liver mainly. fatigue.

For those who are wondering....there have been no side effects in going off the Benicar .... but the light sensitivity is unchanged and I am not about to go thru changing it up and then down again later........ as that was not the reason for the break.. the reason for the break was to see if it would stop continuous herxing and taking the break didnt do that either.. any symptoms I have had off the Benicar were the same herxing symptoms as I had on the Benicar.. I am moving on..

Monday May 2nd 9am Day 1 of MP renew

Took mino 5pm last night. wakeful night. Immune System seems to have slowed some.. mild liver lung herxing.

The goal has been to find out how to stop the Immune System from overrunning which can also cause some prolonged intolerable herxing.

so that I and others may be safe and more comfortable.

so that we may have some time off hard / continuous herxing.

so that we may assess how we are feeling without constant added herx..

so that I / we may be able to feel better than I / we have and maybe do some Family things?

Once the 1,25D levels are down from diligent avoidance of Light and D, and taking Benicar they are going to fluctuate in any light. ie causing symptoms.

If one is not debilitated by intolerable herxing the usual maintenence meds dose schedule (daily abx and Q4H Beni) is easy to implement and will largely contain that: (thinking of me trying to go out or with my son - like ordinary ppl)

I have recommenced Benicar and abx dosing 6am. I will continue to report.

Monday May 2nd 9pm Day 1 of MP renew

the day became more pleasant. still herxing, gut is strong; and lungs milder..  but getting more control. coming out of the bubble.

I was able to wash dishes.. and I notice that I can see clearly tonight when I was splitting the Benicar.. ie that I havent been able to see clearly before..

Hi Barb,

Good luck with your holiday.  If you remember, I took off 2 weeks, but I didn't feel a whole lot better until I went back on meds.  Since my holiday, I have had more good days than bad days.  And, my bad days aren't nearly as bad as before my holiday.

So, good luck to you and thank you for being there for me!  Carolyn

Tuesday May 3rd 3.30pm Day 2 of MP renew

A good day.  I havent experienced this for a very long time. it is not till I am experiencing the difference that I can see where I have been and what it should have been.. I have been able to do a few small things.

The Immune System is still on *run, but slowing. I am still herxy, skin some, so eyes again, lungs mostly, but is managed with the Benicar 20mg Q-3H and mino..

The lifting of the overall intensity has enabled me to identify the different herxing symptoms more clearly.

After being able to see so clearly last night, this morning my eyes had gone back again.. and I was cleaning my glasses and wondering what was wrong..

Tonight I can clearly identify the esophageal and stomach herx.. a difference in swallowing... hurts all the way down and or is or feels like swallowing a bubble of air..

and a difference in stomach sensations.. "am I hungry? or what is it?"

Today the herxing is continuous,  but the overall body debilitating effect has lifted some..

Wednesday May 4th 5.50am Day 3 of MP renew

slept well 4+H.

last night feet were warm to touch but had a hot cold sensation..

eyes herxy gluggy, airways, esophagus, stomach milder. bit foggy.

As this has lifted, I feel to have almost found the *I* in me..  there has been a shift in mental and physical capacity.  Mentally and physically, I feel I may even be able to do some sewing mending today? (if I can see).. but I am less articulate.

Wednesday May 4th 8pm Day 3 of MP renew

I have been tired today... and have slept .. probably a result of having been able to do a little yesterday.. so I am a bit disappointed.. but ahh well..

herxing continues mildly. skin, stomach esophagus and airways. it doesnt look like it will actually stop. it is all tolerable and ok.. just interesting..

I am not as debilitated as I was before this *exercise*... am hoping to *get on top of it* some, wanting things to be a bit better....

Thursday May 5th 4pm Day 4 of MP renew

Took Beni 40mg + mino 25mg. slept 6+H.

Fatigue is holding me down. I am disappointed in how tired I am. have changed schedule and have stopped the obvious herx. the airways are still some tight (which is still some herx)  but all stays stable this way. I wonder if the herxing will stop.

Saturday May 7th 7am Thank you Dr Marshall...

Maintenance meds dosing to quell herxing:

Went to Dr yesterday: I was very weak after my shower. took meds- helped. put lipstick on to look healthy.. 45minutes from leaving home till back again.. I wore my black cape, and a 'hood' of same material which covered my face, and my husband guided me along. Wore my 2% NoIRs inside as well and could see very clearly in the fluoros. He was happy to receive his Professionals pack from the Conference.. DVDs and Papers.. I got my scripts.  no ill effects.

Feet are still puffy. pitting edema. herx is fatigue, skin, lungs, esophagus / gut.. is all more controlled. I need this rest for awhile..

I have a new keyboard.. is good..

Barb......my thoughts are with you.

Whenever I feel "bad", I think of what you are experiencing, and it minimizes my own discomfort. You have become a "hero" figure to so many of us. It seems you are leading us to the promised land, but the going gets tough for you.

Believe Dr. M....that the herxing WILL stop. He should know.

You have our respect, admiration, and love.

Sharon

Hi Barb !

I am wondering, could the tiredness be herx?

How was your tiredness before you went on the MP?

Wishing you all best, as always !!

Sincerely, Frans  xoxoxox

Thank you Frans and All.. All support is greatly appreciated..

re "Today physical herxing has been minimal.. I have been very tired,"

By the physical herxing, I have meant that the actual skin, gut, lungs herxing is slowing now..

and, apart from that, the tiredness herx / debility throughout MP has been more than pre MP yes. I am continuing on a maintenance schedule to 'smell the roses' for a while, to see if I can gain some stability / to see what *stability may be? ...  before *starting again / continuing..
