Thank you Donna ...

Wednesday August 10th 6 am. PHASE 2 / level .5 / cycle 2 / Day 1 /  mino is 50mg QOD > today /  Benicar 20mg Q3H / Quercetin TID

I havent previously reported the presence (for years) of skin under my armpits all bumpy, like permanent goose bumps... was reminded by Melinda's report that hers have now gone away.

The gut herx waxed and waned yesterday, and the underlying immune system run was there too.. getting uncomfortable.. gut pressure. last night, hot, sweats, BO. so began cycle 2 this am.

The memory herx and accompanying misery had lifted yesterday.. good. nice break. In Phase 2, I am quieter in myself.

Thank you Donna, and Arlene ..

Thursday August 11th 11 am. PHASE 2 / level .5 / cycle 2 / Day 2 /  mino is 50mg QOD > not today /  Benicar 20mg Q3H / Quercetin TID

Feels totally different now. Having space from a pushing herx has been good.  I am feeling quieter.  I went out into the world for an hour yesterday with no ill effects.. took the Benicar Q4H for 3 doses.

Thanks Barney ...

What did the World look like? hahaha that is a funny one... it made me think about it.. and the answer is... I was completely covered under my cape, ie I couldn't see out... just got out from under the cover to attend to the appointment, and back under and home.. the lady who attended to me was a very lovely Lady.. so that was a great pleasure... and there was no waiting.. all good.

Barb ...

Barb,

I'm thinking of you and hoping this phase of the herxing will be limited, though it seems productive in that you're coming to terms with issues you've long dealt with. I know your loved ones are great supports, even if they can't fully understand and empathize with your ordeal. We all admire and count on you! You're quite special to us all!

Carol

Thank you Kathleen & Carol ...

Friday August 12th 7.45am. PHASE 2 / level .5 / cycle 2 / Day 3 /  mino is 50mg QOD > today /  Benicar 20mg Q3H / Quercetin TID

The gut herx started to build to uncomfortable last night but the Benicar and then sleep kept it tolerable.. woke with a little wheezy cough this morning but the Benicar and then mino sorted that out..  I am not increasing the doses of anything at the moment as it is the meds as they are, - keeping all tolerable from dose to dose, and I am not wanting to push any harder than this at the moment.. I am better emotionally, and needing far less NProgesterone now that I have changed abx.

Physically, after any small exertion, I often have to breathe deeply and thru my mouth re chest pressure...  that is enough push for me.. I am generally feeling less pushed by the herx/ immune system.. is good.

Wow! This is a comment on diminished brain power. I don't remember those posts, and I thought I could not access your thread until I was cleared for Ph2.

After having been considered "smart" all my life, it's humbling to be dumb. Oh well, roll with the punches.

Keep on keepin' on..........Sharon

Oh neat this forum allowed me to put down a post. Could you give us an update on your progress?  I know for me it would serve as an encouragement.  I private messaged you, but I was not sure how that works and if you would definitely get it.  Thanks.
AB note: see my current progress report.. sent by pm.
