well! the drop of ABx gave a New punch alright! I wasnt expecting it. I havent been in bed long and wasnt able to sleep properly. then, bang >
Herxing is strong right abdominal all down to groin. like a punch (but bearable).. had Benicar at 5H and had to get up.. spreading across diaphragm. reflux feeling in gullet. excess salivating. usual sick feeling.
type of numb and pins and needles down left arm into hand thats a new one..

| Just when you think it's safe to come out from the storm! Hang in there sweetie! I started that naggy cough - driving my hubby crazy at night. Also I experienced that crazy chest tic some time ago - I also described it as a baby moving - Steve gave me "that look". It is so nice to share these issues. Barb, I really think you should discuss with Reenie some diet and MP acceptable vitamins (like magnesium). It sounds like you are not eating well due to being so sick. Steve started being very anxious and depressed. He upped his magnesium and it has really helped. Not everyones answer or problem, but it helped him and it might help you. Also, your teeth issues are probably due to killing little buggers in your sinuses - good news, eh? Well it helps to think it is all for the good of it. God bless you sweetie - you are such a positive influence for so many - this good is coming back to you ten fold. Oh, you are having a hard time explaining the improving energy thing....I was explaining to Steve, I still feel fatigue, but I feel stronger, is that how you feel? Like I felt we could ski this year and I looked forward to it. Last year I could not even visualize getting READY, for it. It seemed too hard to even get the gear together let alone ski! But alas, we are waiting for next season, hoping we are able to be in the fun and sun. God bless.

Question regarding your teeth problems, are you grinding or pressing your teeth hard? I have started doing that recently and I think that may be what has started my migraines. (I have them almost every day) I don't realize it until I make myself relax and I notice my shoulders are tense and my jaws are tense and my teeth are clenched! Just a thought.

thank you for all..
The symptoms I have: re teeth (rarely so far) and gut and depression / anxiety are thankfully, transient herx, and as such are all managable with Benicar and abx meds dosing.
omgoodness.... my very small something of improved *very basal energy are only a faint glimmer! and will not be taking me anywhere near skiing yet!! if I can have a shower without nearly expiring will be a good start..

slept well. my gut is the one constant. most usually feeling *sick or herxing in some manner. the Benicar helps keep it *down to managable.
I feel like I am living in a bubble, in limbo, ?suspended animation ... feel like "what is real?" ..... is not a problem. just perception. just part of *getting *there.
Edit:
is actually more than perception.. it is that I'm feeling too unwell to be as participatory in *real life* as I was.. I am at present in this bubble of not being well enough to do anything around here..

continuing ... Monday January 31st 12 MD ish
very fragile today. resting. incapable. > I think this 2nd ABx must be a very good bug killer... it seems to be building kill.
is Q48H tonight re abx.. whenever (may be Q72H) I take the next dose I will be reducing again..
back to 1/2 caps new ABx (from 3/4) + staying at the 50mg mino again.

decreased back to 1/2 caps new ABx (from 3/4) + (staying at) 50mg mino again at Q72H tonight. to see what happens herxwise this time.

sick and tired and uninterested again all day, with some transient depression.
It would be difficult if not impossible to keep going, if not for the belief / knowledge that it is the bacteria dying that is making Me so sick, and that others have trodden the path before me / us and have come out the other end with their Health..

Decreasing the ABx has given me herx symptom relief.
the sickness and tiredness and incapability are more tolerable than they were. The cough has surfaced again.
these symptoms of tiredness sickness depression are somehow more sneaky subtle forms of herx, and I was adjusting to managing similarly to adjusting to the disease.. until it got too bad altogether.
This has been a good way of proving to myself that the symptoms were herx from bacteria kill and not due to anything else..
I will take the same abx dose again tonight @ Q48H ..

Great to see you.  (since you added your pic!)
I've been reading your posts and thinking you're finding the combo herx sneaks up on you, eh? I'm finding that too. It seems mainly to give me brain sxs so they're more subtle.
I ramped rather quickly since the switch was so easy. Now the sxs have increased some, but I'm going to try to ride it out for another dose or two if I can.

cough gone again. sick / gut inflammation again this afternoon.. tired resting prn.
this is enough without increasing the abx..
some things for me to watch for re improvement apart from the actual physical: I havent been able to read books magazines for years and still cant. I really love music but cant stand it for ages. cant bear the thought of watching a movie or comedies. no concentration to apply to these things. I'll be able to know when I have made progress in these areas..

slept really soundly:
herxing on decreased dose abx: transient: oesophageal; burning reflux feeling. cough. salivating. diaphragm. some anxiety.....
body is working hard: non pitting edema. appetite generally is less than half these days.

Saturday February 5th 6.30am
last night: forgot to report that I was spacey and dizzy on feet .
slept well.
I have an almost headache this morning. first time for a long time.
Having weekend visitors so took mino 25mg to tide me thru rather than no antibiotics. has picked me up a little so far.

Have taken mino 25mg Q12H x 3 doses to get me thru the weekend.Taking Benicar 20mg Q2 to 3H day & 40mg night <6h... Q BID.... ABx same dose 1/2 caps new ABx + 50mg mino again tonight, going back to QOD.
It has been a Big Weekend with many surprise visitors and & 7 extras staying overnight. I had to stay in my room some to avoid the inavoidable door openings and the too much socialising.. even so..... after all have gone I am a crashed wreck..  depressed. picking myself up..<< using the Natural Progesterone spray to do so..
we went out to Dinner last night, and while we waited to be shown to a table, (MySelf in NoIRs of course, and having to sit), the only chair available was behind the counter (and the till !!)... I sat on it while we waited and not 1 member of staff blinked an eye or said a word.

Monday: quiet, tired. have bouts of esophageal burning, reflux, air stuck in esoph..ouch. Benicar 20mg Q3H worked ok. Q BID keeps me stable.

have felt very sick, tired & emotionally fragile all day.. took Benicar Q2h all day.. am puffy, so body is working hard. hanging in.

Tuesday 8th .. took ABx Q48H 50mg mino +1/2 new abx (9th dose at this level)
Wednesday February 9th 3am
Benicar 20mg 40mg night <4h...
settled and stable after report (& Q dose), so took next abx dose.
slept. woke 2am with herxing diaphragm and all right abdo. took Benicar and had to get up. is still herxing well.

Thursday 10th Feb 7.40pm .. took ABx Q48H 50mg mino + (increase from 1/2) to 3/4 new antibiotic
Benicar 20mg Q3H day & 40mg night <6h... Q BID
herx symptoms have been: hands / arms go to sleep. occasional coughing to almost choke (need cough drops to stop). ears inflammed / wet (otitis externa) is it herx? is is not? it comes and goes so must nearly be herx. esophageal burning transient. trouble swallowing (small). gut herxing has become milder. antbite cramps of rib muscles occasionally. fatigue. feeling so sick. non pitting edema constant and has risen some... my body needs to get better enough to get better.. ie destroy more inflammation. appetite staying lower than pre Marshall Protocol. skin and breath feel like mild pepper. body is hot a lot. slight seborrhea (skin, eyes.. blink blink..) restless sleep last night.
activity level still the same.. from bed to chair to table to chair to bed.
Today has been milder symptoms /some relief. feeling a little brighter. emotionally fine >
time to increase antibiotics.
