I've been on the MP for over a year now with much success. I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in 2001 after a biopsy of a spot on my face. The lesions on my face are still there, so when people ask about my progress, I must explain the progress that's not obvious.
Previous to the MP, I had visited the doctor for depression, migraines, daily headaches, reflux, dry eyes, kidney stones, and extreme fatigue. As most doctors do, mine treated my symptoms with medications. He was suggested I get more exercise to fight the fatigue. I am no longer on medication for depression, migraines, or daily headaches. My reflux is gone. My eyes are no longer so dry. I can even wear contacts again. The fatigue I feel now is a welcome bug-killing fatigue.
I haven't been able to exercise since I began the MP, but I'm slowly gaining more energy. I can now take short walks in the evenings. I even cleaned my house by myself recently. Yay! My light sensitivity has decreased as well. I don't have to wear my NoIRs indoors anymore. I still wear the 2% NoIRs outdoors, though.
Another bonus to getting my health back is that I've lost 60 pounds. I'm finally back to a healthy weight. Not only have I cut out vitamin D, but I've limited white sugar and flour as well. I feel as though making healthy food choices is the priority and the weight loss is just a bonus!
I can't thank the moderators enough for their help. It's great to have the support of people who can relate to what you're going through. And to be treated for the disease instead of just the symptoms--exactly what I was searching for. Why can't the general medical community catch on to such a simple idea!

Another Yay! moment for me today. I got my results from my blood test and my 25D level is down to 10.6. I've been on the MP for 16 months. It took time to get below 12, but I did it!
I'm in phase 3 at the maximum levels of each antibiotic. Combined with the low D levels, I'm noticing more changes in the lesions on my face. There is more healthy-looking skin in the middle of each lesion. Yay! I'm looking forward to the next few months to report even more good news.
Patience pays off! Good luck to all starting this protocol. There's nothing better out there!
