Some more encouraging news!!!
I know that the MP staff said that Cholesterol changes are part of a herx..however this amazes me...
While I dont eat low carb and have gained the weight I lost in the past months and dont exercise at the moment...THIS IS JAW DROPPING
Ok a little history both of these test were fasting. See my above post for labs..Most everything stayed the same...
HOWEVER....all in three to two months....
Cholesterol dropped from 233mg/dl to 202mg/dl...THAT IS 31 points!!!
Triglycerides droppedd from 356mg/dl to 179mg/dl...THAT IS 187points!!!
Eat your heart out old dogma!!!!!!!!!! Jeannine

| Whoa! That's spectacular!! Oooh, I'm looking forward to that maybe happening to me too. My bad cholesterol keeps going up despite diet, exercise and Crestor. Congratulations, Jeannine!! Good for you and good for MP success!

Hi Juanita,
I use to live in Winnipeg .....This is exciting about my cholesterol...a complete surprise and very amazing...Something I can show the doctors and say "See I told you so" ....When are you going to start the MP? The MP is worth all the hard work!

Ha! I used to live in Winnipeg too! One of our daughters was born there also. It's one of my favorite cities.
I'm waiting on our blood test results. Four of us are looking at doing the MP, myself and our three daughters. Only my husband is really well in this family. I want to be ready to hit the ground running the moment that our doctor calls us into her office. It's intimidating, eh? One day it feels like MP is fairly straightforward...*wiggles hand up and down*.... and other days it seems too hard to understand. But we are so excited and so grateful to have found this, everything can be taken in stride. When you've faced hopelessness straight in the face for many years and managed to keep some inbred optimism, figuring out how to do MP is much easier than that, no matter how twisted a road is may be.
Thank you for the encouragement, Jeannine. Bless your heart. Juanita

And another HA! I was actually born in Winnipeg myself. And boy, those winters were great...NOT!
Jeannine, I'm so happy to read about your obvious improvements. I recall talking to you before you started the MP and have to say that your voice (well, written voice) is so much stronger now. It's really neato, to be exact, if not slightly juvenile sounding.
Juanita, a big HI to you too. I'll be writing you shortly. Welcome!
3 folks in the know about Winnipeg. Who'd have thunk?
Cheers, Alayne

It certainly makes you wonder about the dirt, air, water and needles in Winnipeg, doesn't it????
Even if it does foster tough people who can tackle MP and herxes!

Thanks Alayne! That means a lot! Congrats on your walking two miles...I can remember when you said that you were in a wheelchair pre MP!
Juanita I will get back to your PM soon...lots going on with a family member having knee surgery!
I do know that I was sick before Winnipeg so I can't put any blame on the city! I really like Winnipeg a lot...all except the winters however they were fun at first These CWD bacteria I suspect are everywhere just like every other bacteria...I think a lot has to do with what we are born with and then what we aquire...Growing up I played almost everyday in the woods with all kinds of ticks and bugs...and then again my parents and lots of family members have TH1 illness so I think most of it was passed down...as I can remember symptoms as a child.....I had anxiety, depression and dyslexia as early as five....

Well it is time to give an update! The MP takes time but it is amazing..Also for some great reads check out jeanninehope: On the subject of Depression.
Health Professional

I find it very interesting since everything with me started with the diagnosis of depression then many years later Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and Lyme disease (which we know now is all the same..different color cats but all are cats) The Marshall Protocol has put me in a place that is indescribable when it comes to my depression. I had depression (pre MP) to the point of wanting to commit suicide many times not to mention life was a struggle everyday.
Mood swings were something that was a part of daily life for me. My TH1 symptoms started as depression then came the pain, fatigue, and poor sleep, daytime sleepiness etc etc...Antidepressants saved me but never have they relieved/gotten rid of symptoms....like the MP. I am now starting to live a life I have never known. I am not the first member to note this but I am amazed at just how good things are.....Of course when I herx the depression, moods and sleep can worsen temporarily...but when I am not herxing WOW WOW WOW. I just cant say enough about it. I keep getting amazed when I see the progress I am making. It is like a dream come true....a life I have never known.

TWO YEAR MP BIRTHDAY
Doing really good.. morgellons symptoms almost gone, Depression (suidical many times) none..only occasional herx, chronic sores gone, horrid sleepiness GONE, Eye sight-no longer need glasses, PMS getting better/changing, Panic attacks gone, negative thinking gone, hair not falling out, sleeping refreshed-the best it has been in my life, I feel bored a lot versus pre Mp I was to tired to get bored, I no longer feel toxic and like I want to die, My outlook on life is totally different, I am dreaming and making plans and thoughts of the future, my relationships are better, I can handle stress much easier, Skin is the best it has been in my life no more cyst acne on my face monthly, purple weird mark that appeared on abdomen gone, memory improving, seizure like activity gone, food sensitivities gone, eye floaters reduced greatly in size, stiffness in joints greatly improved, FM pain over greatly improved, throat glands rarely sore, low grade temp gone, wart on foot gone, my self esteem is coming back! I missed me and now I am back. Slowly like a beautiful butterfly.
I never thought in my life I would write any of that. I was as skeptical of the MP like many of the newcomers/outsiders. I still have fatigue, pain and brain fog to clear but I am only at the two year mark and have been taking the MP slow. If this is all I get which I doubt I could live a happy thankful life.
I can only say that if I ever have a son I have decided I will name one Trevor and the other one George ( after Georgeinrolla who brought me to take a closer look at the MP after contacting me after he read a newspaper article I was interviewed for about Lyme Disease). I vow to dedicate some part of my life to helping others with this life changing and wonderful science. Last and not least my other thank yous go to my doctors who listened and tried to help me with the best of their hearts and knowledge. God bless me with two wonderful ones! They have sustained me in my pre MP hellish horrid life! Now time to make a difference for others...Thank you also to all the others here words cannot express your help and kindness!
If you're in hell like I was.. remember one day at a time and you will get there!
Thank you GOD! Jeannine
