Although the researchers tried to control for differences in the population of mothers, they are still looking to attribute the difference to the mothers and not to the forumula fed to the non-breast fed babies (or babies supplemented with formula). Yet, the article mentions how breast fed babies have fewer health problems in early and later life. Hmmm...NO it couldn't be the vitamin supplementation!
