Hi all,
I'm not sure where to post this, but I just could not let this slip. (Apologies if it is in the wrong place and please move if necessary).
Researchers are set to trial a vaccine for RA by manipulating patients' white blood cells with:
"... a recipe of chemicals, steroids and Vitamin D so they can suppress the immune system rather than spur it. And a single jab could be enough to suppress the auto-immune response that triggers rheumatoid arthritis."
Based on what we know from MP, this is outrageous! Can someone with RA on MP give them a call and give them the real story?
The full article is at: http://www.fiercebioresearcher.com/vaccines/story/vaccine-cure-rheumatoid-arthritis-heads-human-trial/2008-08-14.
Best to all, Cocoa

Dear Friends,
Regarding the trial for the RA "vaccine"--the best people to contact about this would be the National Vaccine Information Center at http://www.nvic.org and the Association for Human Research Protection at http://www.ahrp.org
Both of these groups could do very effective work on this issue--the Vaccine Information Center, as it has been at the forefront of exposing adverse effects from vaccines; and the Association for Human Research Protection, as they are very interested in FULL INFORMED CONSENT and care that research subjects are not abused. Both of these organizations have gotten results.
More than one person sending an email to each would get attention, in my opinion. I'm sending mine....
Best,
Cass A
