A study was just published making a mountain out of a molehill. Still, this is the sort of tripe that keeps the editors of Nature feeling warm and fuzzy, apparently, and they just keep publishing it:-

"Carnosic acid, a catechol-type electrophilic compound, protects neurons both in vitro and in vivo through activation of the Keap1/Nrf2 pathway via S-alkylation of targeted cysteines on Keap1"
