I ran across these two articles. I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on the continued safety of Benicar from radiation.

| I called the Daiichi Sankyo office in the US today. The person I talked to said that Benicar has been manufactured in Germany since the nuclear disaster. If this is true this mitigates against radiation contamination.

The raw material comes from China, in any case. If you look at the tonnages of Olmesartan Medoxomil moving from China to Germany, it becomes pretty obvious that only the packaging and distribution occurs there.

So, what IS the raw material? Plant? Other? Please help a cognitively challenged MPer. Thanks!
