| My mother just had her cholesterol checked, with excellent results.She had not changed her diet, and only takes 20mg per day. Pre Benicar her bad cholesterol was 146, and it measured yesterday at 121, more than a 15% reduction.Her levels had been increasing with time, and she hadn't been able to tolerate Zocor.On a separate note, the magic of Benicar seems to be working for my father's Diabetes.His sugar readings had been over 400 at times, and since starting Benicar just a short while ago he can even skip some of his insulin injections.Just a small 2 person study, but very interesting results.

| I probably should have added the fact that my parents are NOT on the MP, not avoiding light or D, but do have TH1 disease; and are taking Benicar for high blood pressure.
