Phase 3 has been more difficult for me that the other 2 phases but I must say because of that I am seeing the most benefit is so many areas. During my doctor appt with the gastroenterologist, he asked me......How is your iritis (eye inflammation) and are you still taking plaquinil and methotrexate? I told him that my uveitis was completely resolved and that I would never put those poisonous drugs in my body ever again! Then I poceeded to tell him about MP but most seemed to have gone over his head.
There are so many improvements I have seen in my health since I started MP to include:
1) No more burning inflammatory foot and leg pain........this was my worst symptom as there was nothing to control the pain and this was while I was on AP
2) CPK muscle enzymes normal for the first time in 10 years
3) Problem I had with the salivary glands seems to have resolved itself. I can now eat lots of fruit at a time with no ill effects
4) Iritis/Uveitis totally resolved
5) Light sensitivity is so much better
6) Energy and stamina is so much better!
7) Walking now is totally painfree with no limping and am able to take long walks.
8) Two years ago the orthopedic surgeon stated that I would need a hip replacement in 2007...couldn't be farther from the truth!
9) No more Osteoarthritis pain in hip or legs
10) Clothes are fitting me so much better!
11) All of that excess bulge body fat particularly under the arm pits (bra line) and midruff area is GONE! My body has more of a sculpted look and this has been with no exercise! Tom had made the comment that I look like I have the body of a young pregnant lady! My body looks better than it did when I was 18 and my weight is the same. The only fat area on my body right now is my stomach which looks so odd with the rest of this body. This too will resolve as more of the gut bacteria is killed.
12) My brain skills and memory are sharper than before. No more of that soggy cottony waterlogged feeling in my brain which was especially evident during and after the 3 years of taking doxycycline.
13) There is so much more!!!
In summary I just wanted to say that MP has given me my life back or actually given me the life I never had as I have never in my life felt this good! The sad part is that I have lost most of my life to disease as I will be 57 in a couple of weeks and cannot recapture all of the lost years but the future is looking so much brighter
I would like to give special thanks to Trevor, Meg and Barb and to all the moderators, staff and others for I am so grateful to have this opportunity through the Marshall Protocol to begin a new life which will be free of disease and pain. Each day it gets better and better and I can hardly wait to see what the next day will bring!
MP works so if anyone out there has any doubts, you need not for the more difficult the IP herx symptom you experience, the greater the intensity of the benefits! Just knowing this fact will enable anyone to be able to endure the temporary and at time intolerable IP symptoms. But just remember these IP symptoms are only temporary and will resolve in time.
