Before I started MP I was diagnosed with Lupus anti-coagulant, Thrombocytopenia, and Gilbert's syndrome. Do any of these relate to sarc in any way.

Thanks.

Trevor,

I think it's possible that all of them are related to your sarcoidosis. Lupus is a Th1 inflammatory process, so your L. anticoagulation could be related in that way.

Th1 inflammation diseases are lymphopenic and often cause abnormal blood counts so sarcoidosis may be responsible for your thrombocytopenia.

Gilbert's disease is an inherited liver disorder. Since sarcoidosis can affect liver function, it's possible that sarc inflammation played a part in this diagnosis also.

Best,

Meg
