Thanks Barb, for the link, I have never been dyslexic in my life. I have only had this typo thing going on since on late MP. It isn't bothering me, since sorta blows my mind. Since I made a living as a legal secretary with typing being a major part of my job, it just totally is wierd to be typing like this. Some days are better than others.
My eyes have been bothering me this last few days. Feeling that they do not need glasses in the house, but yet not able to go without my Noirs even at night. Feeling like they are annoyed by the darkness of the Noirs. I feel like the light sensitivity is easing. I have had to have 3 pairs of glasses to go outside on MP (my scrips, tinted, my clipons and the Noirs). That has also lessened.
I think I have finally leveled out on 'C' . Have started to not herx. This has been the toughest cycle since Phase 1, but I still believe Phase 1 is the hardest, because the brain fog and fatigue and pain are so intense then.
My opinion of this far into Phase 2 ready to go to 3, is that I have a clearer mind, not as much eye problem, starting to feel somewhat toward 'normal', if there is such a thing. I feel like I am a race horse stuck in the gates just waiting for the gates to open and so very excited to be well. It is still 1 year away or more but seems like a short time too.

All alone for 3 days, don't know if I can stand the quiet. Going thru MP here has been a little difficult with 3 people's dr's appts, meds to pick up, that darn sky light. But it has passed the time so quickly and I have not had time to feel sorry for myself or let me get depressed. I would cook for my self, do laundry and all those household things at home so it is no more to do it here. I just throw their laundry in with mine, cook a little extra and thank God there is a dishwasher. Dad has a nice car with good AC and the house is a constant 75 degrees thanks to a programable thermostat. It has not been a miserable summer despite all the MP coverup.
Having enjoyed trying to boost other people's morale and help them thru MP knowing that we will get well. Takes my mind off of all my responsibilities here. I have really enjoyed helping my dad and stepmom most of the time. Just a few times of stress that we have had to all come to an agreement on.
I still feel I have reached a plateau with the C and will move on after I get back from Bethesda. Never change antibiotics when I have to travel, don't want surprises.
I think C has really worked on my eyes cause I am having a hard time with the dark glasses in the house, they seem to want more light (unnatural light), and I do not (most days) use 3 layers of glasses anymore.

I have a clicking sound (when I walk) near the ball of my foot I have had most of my life. Today it stopped clicking and started hurting real bad. I think this is a herx because it has gone to my big toe and hurts clear up my foot and radiates into my knee. Hurts more on the top of my foot and in my ankle. I will consider it a herx .... but it sure hurts.
Still alone and it feels weird, really quiet.
For several days now, I have been having a hard time eating. About 2 bites into my meal, it makes me almost vomit. I make myself eat a decent amount to keep my strength up.
Otherwise, I am fine. Nothing to worry about. Put an ace bandage on my foot for support.

My cousin I have not seen for 20 plus years came over to clean my dad's furnace. It sure cheered me up as we reminised thru our childhood together. I was not down in the dumps, it was just good to talk of the good childhood years. His dad grew peanuts when I was a child and I learned that they grew in the ground like a potato not on a tree like a pecan.
My foot is still hurting and is involving my leg muscle above my knee. I am going to do the exercise my therapy instructor taught me to see if I can ease it.
I had been drinking some of the new 7upPlus and had also had a achey head on the days I was drinking it. I looked up one particular ingredient and it said that it was used to descale metal. I think I will have nothing else to do with 7upPlus. I dumped the rest down the drain (ha...I bet the drain is clean now). ..and I have not had an achey head since.
You just can't trust anything without reading the labels. Someone told me that if it has more than 3 syllables, do not eat or drink it.

19TH....75MG, 'C', PAIN PILLS (2), 2 TYLENOL....FOOT REALLY PAINFUL, HAD HAD SUCH A BAD NIGHT THAT I WAS NOT ABLE TO POST LAST NIGHT. I WAS JUST TOO TIRED. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO GO TO A DOCTOR.
20TH....GOOD DAY, GOT SOME SLEEP LAST NIGHT OTHER THAN HAVING TO NEB DAD AT ABOUT 4AM ... WAS ABLE TO GO BACK TO SLEEP RIGHT AFTER.
FOOT IS SO MUCH BETTER TODAY...FOUND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. I HAVE AN EXTRA BONE IN MY FOOT AND IT LOOKS LIKE A KNOT ON TOP ABOUT 2 INCHES FROM ANKLE. IF I WEAR ANY SHOE THAT COMES OVER TOP OF IT, IT REALLY HURTS. DID NOT REALIZE IT WAS MY NEW TENNIS SHOES DOING IT. SO HAVE TO GO GET A NEW PAIR OF SHOES TO WEAR TO BETHESDA. I HAVE HAD NO PAIN TODAY SINCE I WORE MY OTHER SHOES. THANK GOD I DID NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE DOCTOR HERE.
HAD TO TAKE DAD TO LUNG DOC AND STEPMOM TO THERAPY AND IT CERTAINLY IS NICE TO NOT SWELL FROM BEING OUT IN THE SUN LIKE I DID IN PHASE 1. OF COURSE, I STILL COVER UP. MY BROTHER GOT ME A REALLY NEAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT .... A COOLIBAR HAT ... A BIG BRIM AND A NECK PIECE THAT HANGS DOWN AND COMES AROUND AND WRAPS AROUND MY FACE. BLOCKS UV AND ALLOWS ME TO COVER MY FACE WITHOUT LOOKING LIKE A BANDIT.
NO HERX TODAY.

Well, tonite I am officially a senior citizen. It is my 62nd birthday. We were going out for dinner but dad was to unsteady on his feet. Will go another night.
I am so glad I am on MP and getting better. My eyes have improved so much that I can actually look at the tv without my noirs on for a short time.
When I get back from Bethesda, I will be starting the cleanup phase ...............Phase 3.
Pain in lower back has been pretty intense today...has not stopped...still have it.... but tolerable.....pain pill/tylenol and an additional 25mg mino.
Am totally exhausted, because Dad has had a very bad day today. He has almost fallen, caught him in time and the rest of the day he has been so dizzy, have had to walk him to bathroom etc. all day. He got his new breathing medicine and he has really coughed up the mucus tonight and when he went to bed he feels like he has new lungs.
Hope to get sleep tonite.
Them darn bugs feel like they are crawling on the outside of my skin again. I forget the official name.

Dad had his big breathing test today at the hospital, so I went out all bundled up like I was in the Sahara Desert. Thank God for air conditioning. In the car, it is impossible to be that covered and keep breathing and not sweat to pieces. With air blowing on you, it is fine. Of course, you know that I just had to tell the girl doing the test all about MP.com and how it works.
Came back and laid down on the couch for the entire afternoon as a friend took my stepmom to her therapy. I went so sound asleep that when the phone rang, I almost jumped off the couch. Guess, I really needed the sleep.
My lower back is still bothering me but not quite as bad. Feel it is a herx and is killing bugs.
Leg/foot still hurting, possible bug killing. Not as bad it was.
Went to grocery this evening for parents and got into a conversation with a lady and of course, had to tell her all about Marshall Protocol.com and Sarcinfo.com so that she could check into it for 2 friends that have fibromyalgia.

Lower back is still hurting. Did not take any pain pills for it. It keeps getting a catch in it when I arise from sitting, but that is not bad unless I sit tooo long.
Went out to OCharley's for my birthday dinner. Had ice tea and my stomach decided it would give me fits (really upset). I hate it when my stomach gets this sick feeling. Nothing stops it except time.
Other than that, no other herx.

Some lower back pain, took 25 mg mino and a pain pill. Took care of it.
Foot has improved vastly from last week.
Have talked with other MPers this week end and we have bounced ideas around of how we are improving off each other. We were able to relate improvements we have seen (or heard) in each other. Also, how we so easily forget things that have happened to us and how quickly we have forgotten the pain and aches we have suffered.
You know, the old saying OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND. We were relating how we should be writing all of this down because it is forgotten so easily.

Occassional dizziness today....no idea why....other than a herx...from killing bugs in brain...maybe.
Stiffness in lower part of body...don't know if it is the weather...maybe a herx..?
Trying to get packed (in advance) for Bethesda...trips are tiring and if you can pack early it is all better. Even when you are in Phase 2 ready to go to Phase 3, you still have a hard time (wears you out) traveling. Phase 1 was a bit worse, cause I used to swell from the sun exposure. Could not get my shoes on, make a fist with my hand and my face swelled. See how much I have improved thru Phase 2, I do not do that anymore. Basically just get well worn out. Vast improvement.
Eyes no longer have pressure in them.....but...I still have my limits of how long I can stay on the internet...but...is much longer than before MP.
No more osteo pain in shoulders...which is very sweet...as I used to cry myself to sleep from the pain.
No neck pain like before MP....no more Migranes...that is even sweeter. I used to be on Imitrex shots that I had to put together when my eyes were so blurry I could barely see to do it....then I went to Fiorinal at the very first thought of a headache....then (Thank God) I went to Marshall Protocol and I no longer have Migranes..............HOOOOOOOOOOORAY!!!

Had to go out to take stepmom to therapy and pick up dad's new inhaler. Then we went out to eat and I have been sick to my stomach ever since. Finally got it calmed down and am going to bed.
Foot is still a little sore but has really calmed down.

Barney,
Know you will represent your fellow Phase II MPers well at the Bethesda conference. 
Sunday I returned from a weekend car trip (two hours each way)traveling during the day. Dosing 50mg Mino daily, Benicar Q4H and Q 500mg 2x daily, middle of last cycle of 1/2 Z, brought very mild light headedness without any other discernable herx sxs. Hopefully this info can help you in your journey.
Wishing you well especially as you tell our story!

IT WILL STILL BE SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE I AM TOTALLY RESTED FROM THE TRIP, 4 AIRPORTS LATER. OF COURSE, EACH GATE WAS CLEAR AT THE OTHER END OF THE AIRPORT FROM THE ONE I LANDED AT.
WE WORKED VERY HARD WHILE WE WERE IN BETHESDA, WE GOT UP VERY EARLY AND WENT TO BED LATE AND WORKED ON MEETINGS AND TRAVEL TO AND FROM THE NIH, WHICH REQUIRED MY FIRST TRAVEL ON A SUBWAY. THE ESCALATOR DOWN TO THE SUBWAY, REQUIRED YOU TO NOT LOOK DOWN (IT WENT ALMOST STRAIGHT DOWN) BECAUSE IT GAVE YOU THE FEELING OF FALLING DOWN, DON'T KNOW IF IT DOES THAT TO PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT ILL.
THE FIBROSIS IN MY LUNGS KEPT ME FROM GOING AT ANYTHING OTHER THAN A SLOW WALK, SO EVERYONE WAS ALWAYS HAVING TO WAIT ON ME TO CATCH UP, INCLUDING THE GENTLEMAN FROM THE NIH LEADING US TO THE MEETING PLACE.
I AM SO TIRED AND MY HIP IS HERXING SO BAD THAT I CANNOT REALLY SAY HOW I AM REALLY FEELING. MY EYES FEEL PUFFY, AND I PUT THAT TO SUNFLARE FROM BEING OUT IN THE SUN SO MANY DAYS IN A ROW. I WAS COVERED COMPLETELY EXCEPT THIS TIME I TRIED THE K CREME. MY OPINION IS STILL OUT ON THAT. I GUESS IT WORKS.
I LAID DOWN AND TOOK A 3 HR NAP YESTERDAY AND WHEN I GOT UP MY CHEEKS WERE BRIGHT RED LIKE A SUNBURN DESPITE THE FACT I WAS NOT OUT YESTERDAY.
I WILL TRY TO POST DAILY NOW, EVEN THO I AM STILL 'VERY TIRED'

Went to bed at 930pm last night and slept until 12noon except for the half hour when I got up to go to the restroom and typed on the Dr. Zerhouni site under General Discussions.
Herx...nausea for several days (comes/goes)....hip has been killing me and does not seem to change no matter what I do....tonight it is fine. Had headaches both nights after our trips to the NIH, I suspect from the sun. Told Carol I didn't want to go eat one night, my head hurt so bad, but I took some extra Benicar and extra Mino and at Carol's insistence, I got up and went to dinner.

Has been a routine day with appts out for therapy for stepmom and stopped for lunch and then home.
Got dad home and he got what I call rubber legs so had to sit him in the wheelchair which we got last week.
Hip still hurting otherwise doing quite well only not as rested as I would like to be.

DAY 277, 10/5/05, PHASE 2/3, DAY 38, CYCLE 4/C, BENICAR 20MG/Q3HRS, BENICAR 40MG/MIDNIGHT, 100MG MINO, FULL 'C', 1 ACIDOP, NO PAIN PILLS, ALL TOLERABLE
Hooray I have been at full mino and C for all week now. Trying to decide which to do next. Z or B.
No real herx other than right hip, leg and foot still bothering me. Does not seem to really go all the way away.
Took Dad for a catscan today at the hospital. Could not believe my ears.
Two ladies were talking about RA, and the one lady was there because she had started Remicade for her RA and had her second shot ($2,700.00 ea) and it was already destroying her intestional tract and she was having a cat scan for that. I talked with her quite a bit about their being a cure, I'm not sure she believed me. I gave her my name address and wrote lots of info on the back of the card. Her husband looked at me like I had lost my mind. I hope, for her sake, she listened to what I told her.
I find it so very difficult to believe people will allow themselves to be treated with some meds like Remicade.

Got a really intense headache and had to take a pain pill...went away.
Ate dinner/lunch out....got really upset stomach which has happened other times when we have eaten at the same place.
Hip, leg and foot still bothering me a little less today.
Felt really like I was recalling 10 years ago today...the lung doc called and said dad had copd but he also said the CT scan revealed a cyst (8cm) in size on his right kidney. When I lost my right kidney, they found a cyst on mine that was a little smaller than dad's. Don't know what is next. Seems like it never ends for him.
Gee I really remember those days....never ending for me too...they just kept finding things wrong and then I found MP.
