DAY 709, 12/12/06, PHASE 3, DAY 6, CYCLE 6/Z/C/D,   BENICAR 20MG/Q3HRS, BENICAR 40MG/MIDNIGHT, NO ABX COMBO, 1 ACIDOP, NO PAIN PILLS, ALL TOLERABLE

No noticable herxes today....lots of sunshine here but also lots of cold weather too so I bundled up and walked the dog out to get the mail about 330pm. No ill effects. What a pleasure to have things calm down from what they had been earlier in this cycle.

Still able to go out with next to no reprocussions.......BUT....I definitely still cover up so that the sun cannot give me problems....what a difference from Phase 1 when I would swell up like a balloon. I used to be so scared to go outside....I really had to push myself to do that.

All of this just goes to prove that MP really really really really really works. We just need to follow the rules as originally printed. Don't be afraid...just have some pain pills on hand and lots of Benicar to help with some of the herxes that don't want to let go.

HANG IN THERE, WE WILL MAKE IT!!! BARNEY:D

DAY 713, 12/16/06, PHASE 3, DAY 2, CYCLE 7/Z/C/D, BENICAR 20MG/Q3HRS, BENICAR 40MG/MIDNIGHT, NO ABX COMBO, 1 ACIDOP, NO PAIN PILLS, ALL TOLERABLE

Been a very tiring day. I started my next cycle last night but did not ramp up on any of my meds since I will be traveling to Albq for Christmas (10 days). Takes a lot to get packed up....clean up car....get dog's water and food ready (I cook for her just like she is a human being)....my friend will come down and feed her 2 times a day and put her in the house at night and take her out in the morning.

Had a bit of an achey head and seem to be pushing my dentures thru the roof of my mouth....nerves at trying to get ready and dreading the driving until after I get under way and then I will be okay.

Hope everyone has a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and I will be back the day after to wish you all a Happy New Year.

Might post from up there....but may also be too hectic to do so...we will see...hope you all have light herxing thru the holidays.

HANG IN THERE, WE WILL MAKE IT!!!!BARNEY:D

DAY 718, 12/21/06, PHASE 3, DAY 8, CYCLE 7/Z/C/D, BENICAR 20/Q3HRS, BENICAR 40MG/MIDNIGHT, NO ABX COMBO, 1 ACIDOP, 1 PAIN PILL + 1 TYLENOL, ALL TOLERABLE

Drove up to Albq during daylight hours....all went well....a little rough during the hrs when the sun was going down...kept getting on my little exposed skin on my face.

Been doing fine except for my legs/hips....they are so tired that I just went to sit down as my daughter and I went to tooooooooooooo many stores and  walked and walked and walked.....I really think they should abolish presents for Christmas times and only give them at birthdays (a lot less shopping). lol

Hope all have been herxing lightly and are having a great time as we go thru the holidays.

Just FYI....I did not lower any of my meds to travel....do not see any need to do that at all for over a year now.

Tomorrow will start my next cycle and I still will not be ramping up since I am traveling.....want to stay on this same level and not have a severe time on Christmas day.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL and to all a good night.

You know, my grandmother said it was so simple to pick out something in everyone's favorite color "green" and I must admit that has been my option for too many years because I couldn't go shopping without really paying dearly for it later.

I was also having problems with the hustle and bustle of seeing too many people and hearing too much noise in malls and driving in congested traffic over the past few years. I hadn't really realized how much I would avoid that until this year when it amazingly didn't really bother me to get out a little this season.

I'm glad you are able to travel now without having to adjust meds. That is a benchmark. Fun to hear about marathon shopping (wink), but do give your legs a break... no wait a minute. Not that kind of a break LOL.--Janet

DAY 723, 12/26/06, PHASE 3, DAY 4 OF CYCLE 8/Z/D/C, BENICAR 20MG/Q3HRS, BENICAR 40MG/MIDNIGHT, 2 ABX COMBO, 1 ACIDOP, 1 PAIN PILL + TYLENOL, ALL TOLERABLE

I am home again after about a 5 hr drive (in the sun again for the first part of it) but before I begin to tell my saga of Christmas in Albuquerque (Rio Rancho) New Mexico, let me first say this....

I love you MP and Trevor for allowing us to share in this treatment.

I drove up during sunlit hours and home for most of it in sunlit hours....I ran all over Rio Rancho/Albq almost every day I was there. Now mind you...I got very tired and had some 14/18 hr sleep days but I had the best days I have had in years. I started Cycle 8  and kept my meds at the same doses for the 3rd cycle....just to be safe because day 3 (the day I call HELL DAY) would be Christmas Day and I did not want to be out of my mind on that day.....(you know....lots of company and lots of food).

I ate everything I should not have eaten because of MP including a 1/2 deviled egg (and it was delicious) and everything I should not because of my diabetes.....but it was Christmas and I am about to start year 3 on MP (1/1/07) and I felt I was far enough along and feeling well enough to cheat for just this one time. I even had 2 (tiny) shrimp and I had no sun flares, nor problems with the food that I am aware of.

I am still 'wired' from the trip home and not ready to go to bed yet.

I was glad to see old friends (who, BTW, told me I looked good), so see the MP is working.....good to see family and great to see my Coast Guard grandson and bummed to say that my grandson in law (the daddy of my great grandbabies) has to return to Iraq probably around June. Best of all....I got to spend quality time and lots of it with my great grandbabies (all 3). They always make me feel so good....coming in the door yelling GRANDMA. We went to BUILD A BEAR....Alex got a giraffe and Tabitha got a kawala bear...Nathaniel is tooo young for anything this year but next year we will get his. Good to see my daughter, son in law, 2 granddaughters and people I have not seen in years.

Had a great time, am tired to some degree but....remember my MCS...I had no problems whatsoever and as a matter of fact...I am getting so well....that I did not even notice most smells...my daughter even lit her candles and I made fragrance gels for all the females in my life.....wow....what a truly blessed Christmas and all because of

MARSHALL PROTOCOL ... I am living proof that it works.

THANK YOU SO MUCH SANDY M AND SHERRY. GLAD TO HELP IN ANYWAY I CAN SHERRY.

DAY 729,  01/01/07,  PHASE 3,  DAY 2,  CYCLE 9/Z/C/D,  BENICAR 20MG/Q3HRS,  BENICAR 40MG/MIDNIGHT,  NO ABX COMBO, 1 ACIDOP,  NO PAIN PILLS,  ALL TOLERABLE

Has been a good day, no herxing, unless maybe my dry throat is a herx...but I am beginning to believe that it is because it is so terribly dry here now and I have placed my tea kettle on the stove on very low to put moisture in the air and that has helped. Then again maybe it is a bug or then again maybe it is a herx...I am just not sure yet.

Got some laundry done, started getting the car ready for the trip to Tennessee where I plan to spend 3 months....Lord willing and the creek don't rise. Got 1 load of dishes done, but now need to wash up all the containers up that Amanda's people food was in. Ray, my neighbor looked after her while I went to Albq....no place to keep her up there and way too many people going in and out of the house.

Just taking it slow and easy....I have been resting and dosing off a lot....guess the trip caught up with me.

Went to the doctor 12/28 and I could not believe it....I lost 5lbs. and believe me I ate more than I should have at Christmas time. Haven't gotten my test results back yet as the new year got in between when I could pick them up. Will be in town on Wednesday to pick up some stuff and take care of some legal stuff and help my 2 elderly friends (more elderly than me) take care of some of their legal stuff. All of our exemptions on our re taxes can only be filed in Jan/Feb...and since I am going to leave on Saturday for Tennesse...I will have to see to theirs and mine.

I ordered a magic bullet to see if it would help me more with making my meals...my grandson wanted one too so we went online and ordered the buy one/get one free and split the cost. This should make it easier for me with my MP meals and since there is only me...this should do the trick instead of my big food processor.

Don't forget to send your monthly support check to Trevor so that we can help him find more answers.

MP is the answer!

HANG IN THERE, WE WILL MAKE IT!!! BARNEY:D

I had a wonderful experience today. I had to go to town to get my new glass frames adjusted and get a 9v battery for my weather radio. Also had exchange clipons at K Mart...while I am standing there waiting on the clerk to finish....someone grabbed me. It was the clerk from the Health Food store where I buy my probotic which I have been buying for 2 yrs now. Her name is Inez. She saw me start this treatment from the very beginning and has offered me her shoulder for having to cover up in over 100 degree weather (being faithful to do it) and having to keep the glasses on since there store has big windows.

She was just bubbling with excitement because she saw me standing in Kmart able to take my glasses off to conduct my business. If it is possible....she is as excited for me as I am for myself. She knows how I have improved because she has seen it happening and I don't think you would ever convince her that MP does not work. She has seen it with her own eyes. We rejoyced together and I thought she was going to jump up and down.

I really like Inez, she has been so great to help me find items in the store because it was dark with my glasses on and that made it hard for me to read labels. She has been the one John Q Public that has not looked at me like I was a 'robber' or a crazy person wearing my mask over my face, the dark glasses and all those clothes in the middle of a very hot summer. I no longer wear a mask or gloves. I still cover up otherwise including my hat which more and more men (and some women) have told me that they liked.

I almost messed up my Benicar schedule today....kept forgetting to take the pill when the alarm went off. Trying to dodge these darn storms has kept my mind occuppied. We are still scheduled to leave Saturday night provided the next storm stays north. Will spend the night in El Paso (since Donna's plane does not get in until 1020pm)...not going out there in those lonely mountains when there may be black ice on the highway. Can't afford an accident because I would not want to get hurt and have to stop MP for treatment.

My blood workup came back 1 pt low in Sodium so I guess I better eat more salt. My glucose is still high but my kidney and liver function are perfect so I will still count on MP curing my diabetes. Trying to watch what I eat.

Well, it is getting late and I need to do more packing. I just wanted to share the excitement that Inez has watching me get well on MP.

HANG IN THERE, WE WILL MAKE IT!!!! BARNEY:D

Barney,
I enjoyed your post today. You are always so upbeat and positive. I hope Inez will remember to send folks your way for a recommendation when she sees the very sick come in.

Happy Anniversary too!--Janet

Correct. And certainly that is the focus and what we are all working for, so others can skip the level of illness so many of us had to deal with.

Thank you again--Janet

Hello all...sorry I have not posted on Alum 1 for a while but it has been caous trying to get here in Tenn from NM and getting a fence up for my dog (which my daughter in law and grandson got done yesterday)....had a lot to set up before I could get calmed down and relaxed.

The trip was good....took us 3 days, 3 nights at a motel. My hips bothered me and we had to stop some to get them to stop hurting....still bothering me quite a bit...not near as bad as they used to be.

We had a blowout in the fast lane...hit something small (like a nail) and that was all she wrote....new tire $85 and that was highway robbery...but what choice do you have out there on the road.

Helped my son and daughter in law carry in wood for her dad...10 wheelbarrows full...think my shoulders will pay for that tonight...nothing heavy...somewhat small pieces but just the repititon I guess.

Hope all is well....I am doing well except for the same ole same ole....hips, lower back, upper leg muscles.

Well, guess this is about it for right now. Have had 2 deer in the yard and many of the neighbor's dogs checking out my Amanda.

I can't believe the difference in the geographical areas as to being able to be without glasses with no trouble. It has been mostly cloudy here (very little sunshine) and it is just to dark to even see out of the indoor Noirs.

I can't believe either, how normal I feel, other than my hip pain, even sometimes the pelvic bone pain (left side), also lower back and the upper leg pain occasionally. That seems to be my only problem(s)but that is bad enough, feels like an icepick after sitting for a while and have to get the ole' bones moving before it calms down. Also, hard to walk up the hill from my grandson's house to my son's house without pain. It is better than it used to be but still pretty painful.

Have not rested(extra)good until today. Have been on the go since I left NM trying to get my living quarters set up here. Fleas and ticks are a problem here since it has not gotten cold enough to kill them off. I am trying to be extremely careful for myself and am going to fix Amanda with flea stuff(even tho I hate the idea).

Hope all are well and making progress.

To those of you who read my post, I am so sorry to be so slow at posting, being at my son's needing to 'borrow' the use of a computer makes it difficult for me as my daughter in law needs it for some of her classes that she takes on line.

Other than my hips, I am doing well. My hips are actually calming down as I am repeating my same doseage for the 3rd cycle and may do a 4th before ramping up any farther.

Janet, this does not seem like a vacation to me since I still have to do dishes (without a dishwasher) and vacuum the carpet almost daily. lol At least I have the strength to do it. I, at first here, got into the habit of doing it about 9pm and that kept me awake so that I could not dose during the good TV programs. (and did not wear me out since I would be going to bed soon, but some nights that is not possible....tooo tired).

I have been able to have my glasses off on the very cloudy days, which was a treat, and I did not feel any ill effects from it, but had my broadbrim hat on...which helps shade the eyes.

Morris, I ate that egg we talked about months ago, and I did not seemingly have any ill effects from that either....but I do not make a habit of it either...since I want to get well totally.

I can not believe the difference in my health now from just 6 months ago...I feel so very human...if that is how to describe it. I am not running around saying that I am hot all the time...I did not even wear winter clothing in the winter before MP as I was so hot I could not stand it. Now I am wearing sweatshirts and am not overly hot at all...what a blessing.

Also, the MCS (multiple chemical sensitivites) are almost totally gone. No one who has not had this problem will ever understand how difficult all those smells were and how ever strong they appeared to me....it even blows my mind now that I don't even smell any of what I used to.

Well, my next dose is due on Thurs, Feb 1st and I will have to decide what to do next but I still have a day or two to decide.

HANG IN THERE, WE WILL MAKE IT!!! BARNEY

Ramped up yesterday because when my neck and spine feel like I need to go to the chiropractor, then I know it is time to ramp up....that may sound silly, but that is my way of knowing.

I am doing well today,a few aches and pains but nothing bad just mild.

Took a nap today since I did not go to bed last night until midnight and got up at 6. I try to go to bed when I am sleepy and tired and get up when I am not because the bed (if I stay in one tooo long) makes me ache all over. Then I take a nap if needed.

Hope everyone is doing as well as possible and really proceeding on MP to some real health.

It snowed here in Tennessee last night and the trees are absolutely beautiful. My daughter in law planted all the pine trees on this property when she was young and they are great big now and the snow just hung on their boughs...it was a winter wonderland and I took a few pics to remember it by since I do not see much snow in Deming (NM).

Vacuumed the carpets today which aggravated my patience. Out of 2 vacuums only one would do the job...I think the other needs to be in the trash...and besides it hurts my muscles to push it around. The good one glides easy and did a good job on the navy blue carpet (I will definitely remember never to have navy blue carpet...everything shows and you almost have to vacuum it every day). My muscles are pretty much okay as long as I do not have to do anything strenuous.

The pain pills lately have been many as my legs/hips got worse but 3 days ago I figured it out. My blood sugar was 367 and evidentally had been high for a while since I have been out of testing strips. So I put me on a real strict eating habit and got it down and now my legs/hips have calmed down.
That still leaves me with the bad joints and bones but not the ache that had gotten unbearable.

Glad that is taken care of and figured out why it was happening.

Still sharing a computer with family and will be until I go home the first of April, that is why the posts are so slim. It is so busy around here, it is hard to keep up with all that is attacking me (so to speak).

Have had a little achey head once in a while but other than that and the hips...I am doing pretty well for an 'old lady'. lol

Hope all of you are progressing.

DAY 773, 2/14/07, PHASE 3, DAY 6, CYCLE 14/Z/C/D, BENICAR 20MG/Q3HRS, BENICAR 40MG/MIDNIGHT, NO ABX COMBO, 1 ACIDOP, 1 PAIN PILL + 1 TYLENOL, ALL TOLERABLE

This has been a wild day...grandson Matt, picked me up to help him demolish his bathroom, then went shopping for new bathtub and cupboard, then in order to get the tub in the mobile he had to put in a new back door (other one was in terrible shape) (while I rested), then back to his house to help him get his 23 fish out of the tank and into his 10 gal tank so we could clean the other one (which we have not done yet).

Thanks to MP, I have not stopped going (everyday) since I left NM for Tennessee....I have gotten tired but not so much that a little rest and/or nap has not taken care of so that I can keep going. Plus...I have kept Chris' (my other grandson) house clean (even without the help of a dishwasher (which he does not have).

Since I have calmed my diabetes down by have very small portions of food, my achey legs/hips have calmed down enough that I feel I can go on living. The hip joint is still bothering me but that toooo will calm with the help of MP...I am sure of it.

It is very cold here and this is the first time in my life that I have had to wear a coat to keep warm. My 'thermostat' has never worked on anything but hot before MP and now I have to layer clothing to stay warm...what a difference.

I took a pain pill today because that 'crazy' grandson of mine, talked me into riding in a wheel chair at Walmart and he was tipping me back doing wheelies and it ended up making my back hurt so I told him no more wheel chairs. He was very disappointed...he thought wheeling 'granny' around was so much fun, otherwise I would not have had to take a pain pill today.

HANG IN THERE, WE WILL MAKE IT!!!!BARNEY:D

DAY 788, 2/19/07, PHASE 3, DAY 3, CYCLE 15/Z/C/D, BENICAR 20MG/Q3HRS, BENICAR 40MG/MIDNIGHT, 2 ABX COMBO, 1 ACIDOP, 2 PAIN PILLS + 2 TYLENOL, ALL TOLERABLE BUT ANNOYING

Achey between shoulders/neck all day, pain pills and extra benicar do not seem to be relieving it but it does stay tolerable but annoying...seems day 3 a lot of times is like that.

I am pleased to announce to all reading my posts that there really is a light (a big one) at the end of the tunnel. I have kept going everyday since leaving Deming, NM, Jan 6/07.
I won't say that everything is a 'bed of roses' but oh what a drastic difference from 3 yrs ago. I actually can count on being out when friends visit for the entire day (actually they spent the whole weekend and kept up with them...we just kept sightseeing all weekend). A little tired but a good tired not a 'I think I could die tired'.
It is just so unbelieveable to me at what changes have taken place since I 'turned the corner' last September. It is absolutely wonderful.

I know that I still have a ways to go...but that is okay because I know within my own body that I am getting well. Even if I had to do MP the rest of my life...I WOULD, it means that much to me to feel this good.

Hope all are progressing well and hanging in there, you won't regret it.

Barney,
I'm so happy for you!

I agree, that ability to keep on going and not be tired is wonderful.

Somehow, when one gets past that turning point moment then there isn't that constant question about how long any more. It turns into more: "this is sooooo incredible, I wonder what more time on the MP would net? I'm going to keep going, who cares how long it takes!!!!"

Thank you for all your posts Barney!--Janet
