Thank you Hope

Good that all has settled..

re Family: It is a possibility that your Family's Th1 symptoms may be more obvious because of the light and D avoidance in the household..  a type of therapeutic probe.

see Some of my family members appear to have Th1 inflammatory symptoms. What should they do?

How does Th1 inflammation develop? What is successive infection?

When you are ready to discuss your Mod Phase Two meds/ doses, please post in phase 2/3 forum  before starting. thank you.

all best, Barb ...

Thanks Barb !!!!!

Info you sent was helpful, but I guess I am looking for concrete evidence about transmission.  It seems odd how many family members seem to be getting cfs and similar illnesses.  The medical profession say you can't catch it, but reality is I think they really don't know....According to one doc overseas, it is easily transmitted especially to partners.  I guess time will tell, as hubby and son won't go and get tested.  Why wait for symptoms to appear?

Hope

Hope,
A recent trip to the doctor with one family member who has been in total denial that they had Th1 revealed some interesting notes on the pathology report that included chronic inflammation markers. The thing they had been complaining about suddenly went into remission (wink). They've already heard it from me so when the doctor said it, they just aren't complaining about it anymore. The problem is still there but they don't want to admit it.

The point is, I'm not all that unique on this board and it does pass around in families.

Nobody wants to admit they are ill. There is a percieved notion all is well and somebody else was weak or unfortunate, but not them. The medical industry doesn't much help. But there are so many people taking supplements or palliative medications of some sort, one has to wonder just how long the emperor can wander around sans-apparel before somebody insists the absurdity has gone too far.

Per family and communicability, it is a bit deceptive due to confused Th1 naming conventions floating about the medical industry and on insurance claim forms. However to name a few in my family, we have a Sarc title (me), RA, heart problems (stents/bypass), diabetes 2, parkinsons, breast cancer, multiple myeloma, uveitis, obesity, depression, ADD/ADHD, autism, asthma, celiac sprue... well, you get the idea. Family.

Here's a good link you might want to run past your family members:

Some of my family members appear to have Th1 inflammatory symptoms. What should they do?

Best to you Hope--Janet

Thanks Janet:D

I know it's a real worry....everyone is in denial about this....I think years down the track, they will realise.  I am worried I passed it on to my son at childbirth.

I am trying to convince my hubby and son to go for tests, I will let you know the result if they go.

Take care,

Hope:dude:

MONUMENTAL DAY

:D

Hello Everyone !!!!

Herxing along nicely in mod phase 2, nausea yesterday, pain in right hand, stiffness in ankles, sensitive lower legs, funny eyes - seeing black dots/white dots, a few muscle twitches.  Planned shopping trip for thursday night and didn't know if I was going to feel like going....however, by 6pm feeling good and herxing had stopped.....had dinner and we set off at 6.30pm.....

Since 2003, I have not been able to walk around a big department store at all.  And haven't been in the wheelchair since nearly two years ago, due to be being bedridden.....We arrived and I changed my glasses to 2% and in I went to Big W Department Store.....first section was for ladies gloves....I wanted to get some leather gloves for the mp, as my woolly ones were nearly in holes!!! Found a bargain, genuine leather at $14.88....bought some other things, did lots of walking for about an hour and had no symptoms.....carried own shopping basket too. he he

Then I thought, should I risk it and go to another shop???? Well I did, but a smaller one and arrived home just after 8pm.....felt tired.  But awoke this morning feeling fine....will rest today.....it is just over a week now on new antibiotic and expect to start herxing more in the next few days....I am still in shock at what I have just done...

Take care all and lots of love xxxxxxx

Hope:dude:

Hi All,

Nearly two weeks on mod phase 2 and new antibiotic kicked in yesterday....After taking it at 11am I felt quite awful by 2pm....very lightheaded, dizziness, head felt detached:shock: (like this)  buzzy legs, nausea, pains in back and shoulders, fatigue, just didn't feel like doing anything so I didn't.....

This treatment is no picnic, but after my recent shopping trip that is incentive enough.... tolerable at this stage....

Drinking 2 litres of water daily and Blood pressure was 104/50...I know this because I have my own machine !!!!!  ;)

Bye for now,

Hope:dude:  (getting stronger)

Thank you Hope

It isn't necessary to monitor your blood pressure while you are on the Marshall Protocol unless your doctor insists on it.
If you are dizzy: Why am I dizzy?
Do take care when changing positions... getting up more slowly, holding firmly, etc, so that you do not fall and hurt yourself.
: Lay low, stay in bed, drink adequate fluids, eat salty foods and wait for the symptoms to wane. make sure of adequate rest, relaxation
Tools to check:

re adequate fluids:
The Water Myth

Water: How much should you drink every day?
take care... all best, Barb ...

Hi All :)

Taking a break in phase 2 however going extremely well.  Still walking around and now can handle a full day out and about.  We took a country drive to my parents new country retreat....car journey an hour and a half there and the same back...at there place all day....so wonderful to be part of life again.

Maintained energy levels in the house.  ie. washing dishes daily, washing clothes once a week, making beds etc.  Finished writing my book !!!!!!  :D  In with publisher and will be published in sept/oct.

My doc who said when I started the mp, my hubby and I were clutching at straws and it wasn't going to work and we were wasting our money...HE IS NOW EATING HIS WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TAKE CARE ALL,

HOPE  :dude:
