I regret that I will not be able to go to the conference.  Money and oxygen requirements are just too great an obstacle.  I am very happy for you that will be going.  I was there in Chicago, and though I barely knew people even from onlins at the time, it was great to meet them.  I met most of the staff, and Carole, Freddie Ash, Reenie, George from Rolla, aka Dark Vader, Michael and his family and of course Barney.  I hadn't thought about it before the conference, but it was the most wonderful feeling to know there was a great bunch of people out there seeking the same thing I was, return to health and survival, and seeing real evidence from early adopters and staff that we had found it.  Fortunately I didn't feel the great sadness of being seperated from these people until everybody was leaving or I would probably embarassed myself running around hugging people. I can't imagine how it would feel to be there with all of you that now feel like family on the board.

If I left anyone out I'm sorry.

Morris

Sorry to say that I won't be at the conference. Add my name to Mellie's as one who would also purchase a tape/DVD of the conference if one is made available.

Good wishes and prayers for all of you!

Betsy, and all the others who can't make it this year, there will be WiFi Internet available at the hotel, and I suspect that somebody will manage to get online and let you all know the 'latest news.' Meanwhile, please just relax and focus on getting your lives back again:):):)

Hi all,

I just wanted to drop a note to wish all the best to everyone attending the conference..

I hope that everyone feels as well as possible and can enjoy meeting others on the protocol as well as listening to such a diverse group of interesting speakers.

It makes me very happy to know that there will be a great sharing of MP ideas, concepts, scientific data..as well as personal experience and advice about the MP in the upcoming days that will benefit many people who are involved with the therapy.

I wish I could have attended myself. Unfortunately, my severe headaches and the fact that as of late I have had very bad problems tolerating sound and pressure made the thought of taking a plane across the country impossible.

I look forward to watching the DVDs, and I hope that next year I will be speaking to many of you in person and not over the computer!

Amy

Lax Lament

We who are left, how shall we post again
Happily on the board our herx, our pain,
Without remembering how they who went
To Los Angeles spent
The conference discussing chronic pain?

We who are left, in many a distant land,
How shall we get the care, the helping hand
And find the links to how to do MP
They gave to us for free?
No fears! there’s Awesome Barb in Aussie land!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all your well wishes. Delegates are arriving from all over this evening. Lots of hugs and smiles of recognition. Many are helping set up the ballroom and all are getting to know each other.

There is much to do but the area looks very professional thanks to artwork by Janet Foutin and signs by Zach Thompson.

Dr. Cantwell and Dr. Eishi dropped by to say hello. And Frans made it from Holland appropriately attired. :)

We hold you all in our hearts as we share the latest scientific knowledge and support one another.

Best,

Meg

Dittos. I wish I could be there too. I hope it is as wonderful as it can be and can't wait to see the results on DVD.

I'd love meeting all the people I feel I've gotten to know...( I think it's a remarkable group of people....all thoughtful and intelligent and all sharing a common cause). As I was just telling a friend, these people are the only people that "understand" what I am talking about when I discuss my illness...maybe next time.

Now, go for it!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I'm way up past my bedtime after an amazingly wonderful day. I dearly wish you all had been here as I shared the MP Basic Tutorial with about 35 newbies, including a dozen healthcare professionals (one all the way from Alaska) and a noted celebrity. Belinda was beseiged with questions about Phases Two and Three which Dr. Blaney helped answer. Dr. Cantwell was brilliant and charming. Dr. Marshall, as usual, wowed us with the science. Dr. Blaney had us in stitches describing his Herxing and John McDonald shared his micoscopy expertise. My talk answered the question "Where is the published study of the Marshall Protocol.

You will be able to view all this wonderful information on the DVDs eventually. But the best part of the conference is the networking and sharing of stories. This is one of the nicest groups of people I've ever had the pleasure to know. It was great fun introducing patients to doctors and observing the many clusters of members sharing experiences during the luncheon, coffee breaks and at breakfast in the Cafe restaurant.

I'm sure others will be posting their impressions to give you a small taste of this unique, empowering opportunitity.
We should also have some photos to share online with you soon. My greatest wish is that all of you were here because it is awesome.

Best,

Meg
