I addressed the issue of biological complexity in my presentation at the 5th Asian Congress on Autoimmunity, in Singapore, on 19 November 2011.

I explored how the Human Microbiome leads to a semi-infinite Interactome, and how the combined metagenomes from the microbes living in and on the human body accumulate to cause chronic disease, including Autoimmune Disease.

This is quite a different presentation from usual, as I try to figure out how to better catch the attention and mindset of my audience...

ps: Don't forget the videoconference tomorrow (Sat 26) at http://MarshallProtocol.com/conferences

Bravo! Bravo!  I really enjoyed the video of the presentation Dr Marshall... especially the Mel Brooks and Monty Python bits at the beginning and the end!  :D

Very interesting, especially protein similarity between humans and bacteria.

Aspergillua fumigatus, that disables VDR, is it associated with mold on the walls?
I remember reading stories that some people got better after removing mold from the walls.

Is there a thread for questions for the conference tomorrow? I will be out at the time (got roped into doing something), but I have a Q if I can remember it long enough.

Will watch the Singapore presentation when I get a chance.

Thanks,
Deb

Very accessible presentation (for those of us who struggle with the details!).

Best wishes

Thats in deed a great presentation! The point is that we are unable to even imagine the tremendous complexity of the interactions between bacterial and human genome. Even Einstein had problems to understand the statistical nature of the world, with his famous statement : "God does not play dice" (Original German: "Gott w├╝rfelt nicht")

By the way, where can I find the references about he MS + Vitamin D interaction you mentioned on the video (Canadian, Australian and swiss study) ?
