At least in mice, the link between VDR and Alopecia is well understood... It is good to see the links being explored in Homo sapiens as well.
ps: This what progress in Medicine is fighting against: "The British Heart Foundation said men should focus on their waistline, not their hairline." They are incorrect, of course. This is a pattern of symptoms, not a causal relationship. Both with Balding and Obesity..
